The Albany coffee scene is looking up after we were the only WA roaster to bring home a gold medal at the 2019 Australian International Coffee Awards.
The win came in the Espresso, single origin category with a beautiful washed coffee from Burundi (Africa). It was grown by 1500 smallhold farmers and processed at the Sehe Washing Station.
The judges noted its richness, berry flavours and honey sweetness.
We were also picked up a bronze medal in the Espresso, blend category with our trusty Red Letter blend.
