Pedro Gabarra is the fifth generation of coffee growers in his family.
Whilst most coffee cherries yield two seeds, each with a flat side, a natural variation to this is a single more rounded seed. These are known as peaberries, and they are thought to be sweeter and more intense in flavour, like a dessert wine.
Here Pedro has separated the peaberries from the main crop. This lot is sweet and smooth with a pleasant coating mouthfeel.
